Enrollment Procedure

Grades K-8

The first step in the enrollment process for all grade levels is to fill out a Letter of Intent. All Letters of Intent will be date stamped in the order that they are received.

Kindergarten

RMCA is offering free full-day Kindergarten as well as half-day Kindergarten for 2012-2013 school year.

All Grades

Parents/Guardians will be contacted the last week of February to be offered placement or notified of their waitlist number as determined by seats available and the date that the Letter of Intent was received.

K-5

Families who receive placement need to submit the following documents:

  • All enrollment packet documents (packets will be emailed or may be picked up from the front office of each campus)
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Copy of Immunization record
  • Copy of IEP or 504 if applicable
  • Proof of Residency
  • Copy of custody or other court documents if applicable

Offer of placement does not guarantee enrollment.  Failure to submit paperwork by date requested will cause you to forfeit your student’s spot.

6-8

Families who are offered enrollment need to schedule placement testing.  Placement testing will be offered every Friday morning beginning February 3, 2012.  Testing can be scheduled with the front office by calling:  622-8000.  If your student’s current school does Scantron Testing (all D-49 schools), you can request the most recent scores from your school rather than test again.

Please bring the following on your testing date:

  • Attendance Report from current school
  • Behavior Report from current school
  • CSAP or other standardized test scores

The Guidance Counselor and/or Principal will meet with parents of students with significant academic or behavior issues.  It is recommended that students on the waiting list complete the above steps to expedite the enrollment process as seats become available.

Once enrollment is offered families must submit the following:

  • All enrollment packet documents
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Copy of Immunization record
  • Copy of IEP or 504 if applicable
  • Proof of residency
  • Copy of custody or other court documents if applicable

Offer of placement does not guarantee enrollment.  Failure to submit paperwork by date requested will cause you to forfeit your student’s spot.
