The 7/8 choir will be putting on a musical version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. All students are required to participate in some capacity, whether in a role or in the chorus. Again, student attendance is mandatory.

This spring the 7/8 choir will be putting on a musical version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. All students are required to participate in some capacity, whether in a role or in the chorus. The play is scheduled for Wed. April 24th at 6:30 pm at Sand Creek High School. Again, student attendance is mandatory.
Preliminary casting for Midsummer Night's Dream has been posted. All students will complete a "Character Analysis" of their assigned role this week. Scenes will be performed in class. A final decision as to who will perform at Sand Creek on April 24 will be determined by Friday.

This spring the 7/8 choir will be putting on a musical version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. All students are required to participate in some capacity, whether in a role or in the chorus. The play is scheduled for Wed. April 24th at 6:30 pm at Sand Creek High School. Again, student attendance is mandatory.
Preliminary casting for Midsummer Night's Dream has been posted. I still may change parts around and I have not yet decided who will perform in the final show at Sand Creek. Details TBA. All students have a role to play and are expected to memorize and perfect their parts. All students will also sing in the chorus and be involved in at least one choreographed song.

Come support nine RMCA choir students who are singing in the D49 Honor's Music Festival this Saturday, March 2, at 7pm at Falcon High School!
This spring the 7/8 choir will be putting on a musical version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. All students are required to participate in some capacity, whether in a role or in the chorus. The play is scheduled for Wed. April 24th at 6:30 pm at Sand Creek High School. Again, student attendance is mandatory.
This week we will continue to learn the music as a large group and on scenes in pairs or small groups. Students will also fill out an audition form to indicate whether they would like to be considered for a role. Mrs. Dobbins will be auditioning them during class time. Everyone will prepare a scene regardless of if they are cast in the final performance. Those not given a role will be a part of the chorus. The songs and scenes are as follows:
